Israel is withholding the transfer of $118 million in tax revenue collected for the Palestinian government. The move follows a U.N. vote to recognize the West Bank and the Gaza Strip as part of a Palestinian state. Israel views the vote as provocation from Palestine. Withholding the tax revenue means the Palestinian government will struggle to pay salaries.
