Nevada economy is rebounding slowly, economists say

Economists at a meeting sponsored by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, at the M Resort in Henderson, Nev., on Monday said the state's economy is slowly improving. "We're still a long ways away from where we were in 2007, but we're improving. Our growth is slower than the rest of the nation but, of course, we're recovering from a lot steeper losses," said Stephen Brown, director of UNLV's Center for Business and Economic Research.
