Study: Bottled wine holds up better than boxed

Bottled wine is better protected from aging in warmer temperatures than bag-in-box wine, according to researchers at the University of California, Davis. Their research shows that bag-in-box wines age faster than bottled wines when stored at 68 degrees and 104 degrees, developing the qualities of dried fruit, sherry and vinegar.
