VA, IHS craft agreement to improve vets' health care access

The Department of Veterans Affairs and the Indian Health Service have reached an agreement aimed at improving health care access for Native American military veterans, especially in rural areas. The VA will reimburse the IHS for direct health care services for eligible veterans under the agreement.
