Louisville sifts through 80,000 ideas to improve city

About 80,000 ideas on ways to improve Louisville, Ky., have been sent to the Vision Louisville project, which is developing a 25-year vision for the city. Some of the ideas include adding indoor recreational areas for children, open-air markets, bicycle and walking bridges over busy streets, and regulations that increase shaded areas to reduce the urban heat effect.
