A new generation of diners discovers the egg cream

Chicago's Eleven Lincoln Park serves genuine phosphates, Brooklyn Egg Creams and two varieties of barrel-aged root beer at a retro soda fountain that features an original multimixer from 1947. The eatery and others in town aim to win over a new generation with house-made soft drinks. "Soda is fun, it's whimsical, and everyone loves it," Eleven Lincoln Park owner Brad Rubin said.
