Analysts want Merck to consider a merger

Analysts are worried Merck's independent strategy is slowing growth, despite the company's announcement about some hopeful early-stage drugs. This month's annual meeting did spark a glimmer of hope for analysts, however, as some said there seemed to be an increasing willingness on the company's part to at least consider mergers.
