Georgia considers a more focused, rigorous curriculum

Yesterday, Georgia state educators unveiled a proposed public schools curriculum that incorporates math standards from Japan and ideas from other states. The proposed curriculum includes new performance standards, introduces some subject matter earlier and provides more specific learning objectives in core subject areas.
