Emerging-market bonds down after Fed's interest rate cut

Venezuela led losses in emerging-market bonds amid concerns that the Federal Reserve's quarter-point interest rate cut will not be enough to avoid a U.S. economic slowdown. "General risk sentiment has turned sour," said David Spegel, of ING Bank NV. "There had been some hope that there would be a 50-basis-point cut."
