Studies spill calorie information on holiday drinks

Americans are adding calories to their diet by increasing their consumption of high-calorie beverages, according to a University of North Carolina study. Holiday drinks such as eggnog at 343 calories per cup and hot buttered rum at 300 calories can especially boost caloric intake.
