Asian leaders to hold rare meeting on economic crisis:

Chinese, South Korean and Japanese leaders plan to meet Saturday to discuss how best to protect Asia from the economic crisis. Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso will host the meeting in the southwestern province of Fukuoka. Aso is expected to tell South Korean President Lee Myung Bak and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao that "it is important for Asian countries to contribute, as Asia will continue to be a center of growth in the world economy," said the Japanese foreign ministry's press secretary.
