Congress passes relief measure for pensions

A measure passed the Senate on Thursday that relaxes requirements for companies whose pension funds suffered big losses this year, as well as for people over age 70 who would normally be required to withdraw money from their retirement accounts at a time when many investments have lost value. The bill now moves to the president for his signature.
