Increase in exports helps reduce the trade deficit

The trade deficit shrank to $38.7 billion in October, and exports increased 3.2% compared with September partly because of dollar devaluation and rising global demand. "The sharp decline in the October trade deficit bodes well for the U.S. economy," said Gregory Daco of IHS Global Insight.
