CMS delay may lead Wisconsin to cut BadgerCare Plus

Wisconsin may have to cut 53,000 adults from its BadgerCare Plus rolls in July after the CMS has said it likely will not meet a Dec. 31 deadline to approve all requested changes to the Medicaid program. A state law set the deadline for the approval. CMS officials said that while they could OK an increase in adult premiums they needed more time to study other parts of the plan, especially those affecting children.
