Health department pushes Salt Lake eateries toward sustainability

Officials at the Salt Lake County, Utah, health department are urging more restaurants to adopt greener practices such as those at Pago, which creates menus based on what local ranchers and farmers provide. Pago also is recycling used wine bottles into drinking glasses for the restaurants. Restaurants that demonstrate green practices will be promoted on the department's website.
