Online sales boom in advance of "Green Monday"

Domestic holiday spending online is up 15% to $24.6 billion year-over-year, per comScore. Measuring Nov. 1 to Dec. 9, the boost was attributed to strong Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday sales, with sales of more than $1 billion on six days in the period. The torrid online sales pace is expected to continue with Green Monday and free shipping promotions.
