McDonald's and KFC increasingly include delivery services in their offerings in major cities such as Beijing, Seoul and Cairo, where crowds are too big and real-estate prices too high to build drive-thru restaurants. McDonald's offers delivery at 1,500 locations in 15 countries, KFC delivers from more than half of its 3,500 China stores, and both plan to expand the service as they open new overseas restaurants.
