UM, MCC create stackable degree program for nurses

A new transfer agreement between the University of Missouri and Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City means students who earn an associate's degree in applied sciences in nursing at MCC can take online courses toward a bachelor's degree in nursing at MU. MCC Vice Chancellor Paul Long says educating more bachelor-level nurses will help reduce area shortages of skilled health care workers.
