AMR, leaders of pilot union plan to meet as merger talks continue

Leaders for the Allied Pilots Association plan to meet with AMR CEO Tom Horton as the company evaluates a merger offer from US Airways Group. American Airlines pilots received a 13.5% stake in a stand-alone AMR as part of a newly approved labor contract, and the union is involved in the merger discussions.
