Pirelli, a golden retriever born without a back left paw, will receive a prosthetic paw thanks to donations from admirers. Pirelli visits schools in Georgia to spread the message that "it doesn't matter what your body looks like or how it functions. What makes you important as a person is what you are on the inside," said Jennifer Arnold, founder of the nonprofit Canine Assistants. Pirelli will receive a carbon-fiber foot from the Hanger Clinic, a human prosthetics company.
