Fed relaunches bond buying, says job creation is target

The Federal Reserve says its most important objective is stimulating job creation, and it now has formally tied interest-rate policy to the unemployment rate. The central bank says it will keep interest rates low until joblessness drops to 6.5% or lower. The Fed also says it will buy $85 billion a month of Treasurys and mortgage-backed bonds until the labor market recovers.
