Former MF Global commodities trader faces fine, prison time

A trader who worked for MF Global has pleaded guilty to commodities-trading violations in 2008 that resulted in $141 million in losses. The trader, Evan Dooley, who made unauthorized trades in wheat futures on CME Group's electronic-trading system, faces a $1 million fine and up to 10 years in prison, federal prosecutors said. His sentencing is set for March 8.
