Indianapolis wants its fleet to go all electric

Indianapolis has set a goal of becoming the first major U.S. city with a fleet of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, by 2025. Mayor Greg Ballard signed an executive order this week calling for the city to replace its cars with electric vehicles, and to phase in snow plows, firetrucks and other heavy vehicles by working with the private sector.
