Space pilot had a love of flight since childhood

As a child, Dave Mackay had a love of space and flight. Now as the chief pilot for Virgin Galactic, he could become the first pilot to fly commercial airline flights outside of Earth's atmosphere. Mackay compares flying into space to Charles Lindbergh's first solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. "That was a demonstration of what was possible," he said.
