House Republican leaders confident they can pass budget compromise

Senior Republicans said the budget deal negotiated by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and Senate Budget Committee Chairwoman Patty Murray, D-Wash., will receive swift approval when it comes up for a vote in the House. House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said conservative groups demanding rejection of the deal are denouncing reasonable proposals solely to energize their fundraising campaigns.
