Kroger tests specially designed cart for special-needs shoppers

Three Kroger stores in Ohio are serving as test markets for Caroline's Cart, the first patented shopping cart for customers with disabilities. The cart eliminates a need to fit a child into a standard cart or to push both a wheelchair and a cart. "Kroger is making history," cart founder Drew Long said. "Caroline's Cart will help millions of families."
