More Than One-Third Of Ohio Freshman Ill-Prepared For College

An Ohio Board of Regents statistical study released Dec. 12 found 36% of Ohio college freshman needed to take remedial English or math classes. Although the statistics mirror national standards, the board said the findings reflect problems with the state's secondary education.
