Big Growth Ahead for Mobile Entertainment

North America makes up only 14% (approximately $2.4 billion) of the total global market for mobile entertainment content, but it will begin to take an increasing share of revenues in the next five years, according to new data from Juniper Research. Currently, Asia-Pacific is the dominant region worldwide for mobile content, with 41% of the market, followed by Europe, with 39%. Juniper predicts that total global mobile entertainment revenues will rise to $77 billion in 2011, from $17 billion in 2006.
