Taco Bell kicks off PR blitz to reassure customers

Taco Bell Corp. launched a media blitz to convince customers its food is safe, with Taco Bell President Greg Creed emphasizing to Associated Press Television that he told his own daughter and her friends that Taco Bell's food safety issues have been resolved. An open letter from Creed about the safety of the food was published in newspapers including USA TODAY and The New York Times, even though the source of the Taco Bell-linked E. coli outbreak has yet to be discovered.
