Banks push cell phones for personal finances

Financial institutions have added mobile banking to their service lineup in greater numbers this past year, but analysts are skeptical that people will move quickly to pay bills and check their accounts wirelessly. A 2006 survey showed that less than 5% of online-banking customers have any interest using their cell phones for that purpose.
