Kellogg to spend $40M to expand research facility

Kellogg Co. said it will invest $40 million to expand the W.K. Kellogg Institute for Food and Nutrition in Michigan to enhance the company's product innovation. The expanded research facility will include food and packaging review rooms, laboratories, test kitchens and a flexible production pilot plant where food products can be tested before mass production.
