Milk and egg allergies more tenacious in children

New research suggests that children who have milk and egg allergies do not outgrow their sensitivities as quickly as they did in the past. Less than 20% of milk-intolerant children and 4% of egg-sensitive children outgrew their allergies by age 4. Most youths outgrew their intolerance by age 16.
