More Florida kindergartners prepared for formal schooling

Florida children were better prepared for kindergarten this year than ever before, according to annual readiness screening results released Wednesday. "The more prepared these young children are entering school, the greater their chances for continued academic success," said Florida Education Commissioner Eric Smith.
