Orlando McDonald's takes throwback approach with new design

Operators in central Florida have been revamping stores, and high sales at the few existing 1950s-style McDonald's locations inspired one franchisee in Orlando to invest in a new building design. The retro-style location, scheduled to open Wednesday, includes hallmarks of early McDonald's restaurants, such as a glass-plated storefront and a slanted roofline.
