State approves $32.5M grant for Johns Hopkins Children's Center

Johns Hopkins University has received approval for a $32.5 million grant from the Maryland Board of Public Works to build a new children's center in East Baltimore. The $1 billion, 1.6-million-square-foot facility will include two 12-story towers, and the project is the largest component of a $1.5 billion, 10-year redevelopment plan.
