Disputed election prompts Ivory Coast cocoa concerns

Cocoa processors including Cargill and Barry Callebaut say operations on Africa's Ivory Coast are continuing, but the political unrest there is causing cocoa-delivery problems. "It is NCA's hope that the disagreements will be resolved quickly and peacefully for the sake of all those who are affected," said Susan Smith, NCA's senior vice president of strategic communications.
