New MBAs see improvement in job and salary prospects

New graduates of business schools face a better job market with the prospect of a higher starting salary than in the last couple of years. About 55% of companies plan to hire graduates of MBA programs this year, up from 50% last year. They plan to pay new grads an average starting salary of $89,200, 3.2% more than last year, according to data from the Graduate Management Admission Council.
