Pennsylvania slowly considers casino-licensing requests

Six years ago, Pennsylvania's Legislature legalized slot-machine casinos and established the state Gaming Control Board. Decisions about casino licenses have been slow, however. Gregory Fajt, chairman of the Gaming Control Board, told an investor group 15 months ago: "We expect this to move and move quickly, or we will yank the license." That group is scheduled to reappear before the board in an effort to retain its license to build a casino along the Delaware River.
