Survey shows growth in EHR use among providers

More than 50% of doctors responding to a CDC survey said their practices employ at least a partial electronic health record, up from 48.3% last year. The survey also found that almost 25% of physician respondents had adopted a basic electronic medical record system, which includes functions for viewing drug lists, imaging and laboratory results.
