Boeing secures 800 commitments for 737 Max, executive says

Randy Tinseth, vice president of marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, wrote in a blog entry that the aircraft manufacturer has secured nearly 800 commitments for the 737 Max. Boeing plans to deliver the 737 Max, an updated version of its 737, in 2017. Southwest Airlines is in talks with Boeing about ordering the 737 Max, sources say.
