IPad apps cater to business aviation

A number of new applications have been developed for the iPad aimed specifically at business passengers and pilots. Gulfstream has an app called Cabin Control for its newest jets and another called PlaneBook for pilots. Jeppesen's Mobile FliteDeck eliminates paper maps from the cockpit, and an app developed by Rockwell Collins allows passengers to view mapping data.
