The University of Memphis, through the creation of a regional science, technology, engineering and math collaborative, is broadening its reach in STEM education and preparing high-school students for the jobs of tomorrow. "The university is keenly aware of the need for STEM education on the high school and college levels, and for a number of years now, we have been actively involved in efforts to increase STEM education among students in this area," University of Memphis President Shirley Raines said in a statement.
