Disability groups say budget deal would ease sequestration cuts

A two-year budget deal negotiated between Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., won support from disability advocacy groups because it would ease sequestration cuts that have affected housing, employment, research and other federal programs that benefit people with disabilities. The plan was approved by the House last week and is expected to be considered in the Senate this week.
