About 32 million Americans curb their carbohydrate intake, spending $2.5 billion a year on low-carb foods. The low-carb revolution continues to unravel as T.G.I. Friday's rolls out an Atkins-endorsed menu, while food giants Kraft Foods, General Mills and Heinz also have joined the low-carb bandwagon.
