Canada wants trans fat limited to "the lowest levels possible"

Canada's mandate to restrict the amount of trans fat in processed foods will most likely yield a reduction in the U.S. as well, since food companies often make one product to distribute in both markets. Some health experts contend, however, that public education and more comprehensive food labeling are more effective ways to get people to eat healthier.
