Almost a third of Colorado grads need college help

In Colorado last year, 30% of state high school graduates who enrolled directly in state colleges required remediation, reports the state Commission on Higher Education. The panel says the numbers indicate Colorado, which is one of only three states in the nation without statewide high school graduation requirements, needs such standards.
