Go off the map to Grenada

Grenada's low profile has allowed the Caribbean island to avoid the commercialization that has overtaken some of its counterparts, the San Francisco Chronicle writes. The island near Venezuela, perhaps best known for the U.S. military intervention that took place there in the 1980s, has lush tropical forests, excellent beaches, fascinating history and luxury accommodations.
