Cadbury makes strong case for its business, rejects Kraft bid

U.K. confectioner Cadbury increased targets for its performance next year after rejecting an offer from Kraft. "Kraft is trying to buy Cadbury on the cheap to provide much needed growth to their unattractive low-growth conglomerate business model," said Chairman Roger Carr in a statement to shareholders. "Don't let Kraft steal your company with its derisory offer."
