Caterpillar celebrates 80 years of trading on NYSE

Caterpillar last week celebrated 80 years of being listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Chief executive Jim Owens rang the exchange's opening bell, and the company displayed some of its equipment on the exchange floor during trading. Its shares were first listed in 1929 under the name Caterpillar Tractor Co.
