Strike by BA cabin crew to derail travelers' plans:

Trans-Atlantic travel will likely be thrown into disarray after British Airways' flight attendants voted to strike from Dec. 22 until Jan. 2. The strike is expected to jeopardize the plans of as many as 1 million travelers and will ground most of the airline's fleet. While British Airways said it would offer full refunds, it will not offer to pay for another flight, and some competitors expect to see an increase in bookings as travelers scramble to change their holiday plans.
